Convert Screenshot to Excel for Shopping and Order Data
When you need to convert a screenshot to Excel, the challenge is rarely taking the screenshot — it is turning a flat image into rows and columns you can actually work with. snapNsheet reads shopping screenshots using AI and writes every product into a spreadsheet automatically, including the cropped photo, name, quantity, unit price, and a running total.
The result is a clean .xlsx file you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any compatible tool. No manual typing, no copy-paste from a PDF, no reformatting. Upload up to ten screenshots at once and download your spreadsheet within seconds.
What this screen looks like
A typical shopping or order screenshot shows a vertical list of products, each with a thumbnail image, a product name that may run to two lines, a quantity selector, and a price — sometimes with a strikethrough original price beside the discounted one. Order confirmation screenshots add an order number header and a grand total row at the bottom. Receipt screenshots from apps often compress this into a tighter layout with smaller text and less whitespace.
When people use it
- You screenshotted several online orders during a sale and need one consolidated spreadsheet to track what you spent and on which items.
- A colleague shares a cart screenshot over chat and asks you to price-check the same items elsewhere — you need the data in rows first.
- You manage reorders for a small business and photograph supplier order confirmations; converting those screenshots to Excel saves hours of data entry each week.
Why doing it by hand hurts
- Typing product names, prices and quantities by hand from a screenshot is slow, error-prone, and tedious when an order contains more than a handful of items.
- Copy-pasting from a PDF or web page often mangles formatting, strips images entirely, and leaves you with hours of cleanup before the data is usable.
- Keeping product photos alongside the data requires manual cropping and inserting each image into the correct cell — a process that scales badly past five items.
How it works
- 1
Take or locate your screenshots
Find the order confirmation, cart summary, or receipt screen in your browser or app. Take a clear screenshot at the highest resolution your device allows. snapNsheet accepts PNG, JPG, and WEBP files up to 8 MB each, so standard phone and desktop screenshots work without resizing.
- 2
Upload and let the AI read them
Go to snapNsheet.com, start a new conversion, and upload up to ten screenshots. The AI identifies each product row, extracts the name, quantity, and price, and crops the product photo from the image. Prices in EUR, USD, and GBP are recognised automatically.

Review, then download your Excel file
Detected rows appear on screen before you commit to a download, so you can confirm the data looks right. Once satisfied, download the .xlsx file. The list is also saved under My Lists for 90 days and can be shared with a read-only link.
What you get in the Excel file
- Each product's photo cropped from the screenshot and embedded directly in the Excel cell.
- Product name as it appears in the screenshot, preserved in full.
- Quantity and unit price in a dedicated column each, ready to sort or filter.
- A line-total column calculated per row, plus a grand-total formula at the bottom.
- A clean .xlsx file compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice Calc.
Frequently asked questions
How many products can one conversion handle?
snapNsheet supports up to 75 products per conversion across up to ten screenshots. If your order history is longer than that, split it across separate conversions. Each conversion is saved independently in My Lists for 90 days.
What if a price is partially cut off in my screenshot?
Prices that are hidden behind a tooltip, cropped at the edge of the image, or obscured by an overlay cannot be read. Scroll the page so every price is fully visible before taking the screenshot, then re-upload for accurate results.
Does snapNsheet log into my store account to fetch order data?
No. snapNsheet has no connection to any store or platform. It reads only the screenshots you upload. Nothing is fetched from external accounts, and no credentials are ever requested or stored.
Can I convert screenshots from any shop or app?
Yes — because the tool reads image content rather than connecting to a specific platform, any shopping screenshot with visible product names and prices can be uploaded. Image quality and resolution affect accuracy, so blurry or very low-resolution captures may produce incomplete rows.
What happens if one screenshot contains orders from two different shops?
Best results come from uploading one order or cart per conversion. Mixed screenshots can cause the AI to merge rows incorrectly or miss items. Crop or separate the screenshots before uploading if they contain unrelated orders.
