Use cases
Turn Product Screenshots into Excel — Photos Included in Every Row
Most tools that convert image to Excel with product photos strip the visuals out entirely, leaving you with a flat list of names and numbers you have to match back to items manually. snapNsheet keeps the product photo, crops it from your screenshot, and embeds it directly into the cell beside the name, quantity, unit price, and line total — ready to sort, filter, or share.
The result is a structured .xlsx file where each row is self-contained. You can see what the product looks like without opening another tab. That matters when you are reconciling a large order, comparing prices across suppliers, or building a catalogue from screenshots you already have on hand.
What this screen looks like
A typical screenshot for an image to excel with product photos conversion shows a grid or list of products — each entry has a thumbnail image on the left, a product name, a quantity field, a unit price, and sometimes a subtotal. This layout appears in shopping carts, saved wishlists, order confirmation pages, and supplier catalogue views. The cleaner and higher-resolution the screenshot, the more accurately snapNsheet can crop each product photo and read the accompanying text.
When people use it
- A buyer screenshots a supplier's product catalogue page and needs a quoted price list in Excel with item photos for internal approval — no manual copy-paste.
- Someone saving wishlist items from multiple shops wants one consolidated spreadsheet where each product row shows the actual photo, not just a name.
- A small business owner photographs printed order sheets and needs a digital Excel record with product images embedded for stock tracking.
Why doing it by hand hurts
- Copying product names and prices by hand is slow and error-prone; matching each entry back to the right photo afterwards doubles the work.
- Standard screenshot-to-spreadsheet tools output plain text rows — the images are discarded, so the visual context that makes the list useful is lost.
- Manually inserting product photos into Excel cells, resizing them, and aligning them with the correct row can take hours on a list of even twenty items.
How it works
- 1
Take your screenshots
Capture the product list, cart, order, or wishlist as PNG, JPG, or WEBP images. Each file can be up to 8 MB, and you can upload up to ten screenshots per conversion, covering up to 75 products in one go.
- 2
Upload and let AI read them
Open snapNsheet in any browser on phone or desktop, upload your screenshots, and the AI identifies each product row — extracting the photo, name, quantity, unit price, and line total automatically.
- 3
Review, then download your Excel file
Detected rows appear on screen before you commit. Once you confirm they look right, download the .xlsx file with product photos embedded in cells, a grand-total formula included, and the list saved for 90 days.
What you get in the Excel file
- A cropped product photo embedded directly in the Excel cell for every detected item.
- Product name as read from the screenshot, kept in full however long it appears.
- Quantity and unit price columns, with EUR, USD, and GBP values recognised automatically.
- A calculated line-total column and a grand-total formula at the bottom of the sheet.
- A shareable read-only link to the saved list, accessible for 90 days under My lists.
Frequently asked questions
Does snapNsheet connect to the store to fetch product images?
No. snapNsheet reads only the screenshots you upload — it never logs into a store or accesses any account. The product photos embedded in your Excel file are cropped directly from the images you provide, so image quality and resolution affect how well they are captured.
How many products can one image to excel with product photos conversion handle?
Each conversion supports up to 10 screenshots and up to 75 product rows in total. If your order or list is longer, split it across separate uploads. One order or list per upload gives the best results.
What happens if a product photo is partially cut off in my screenshot?
snapNsheet crops whatever is visible in the image. If a photo is cut off at the edge of the screen, only the visible portion will appear in the cell. Scrolling to show each product fully before screenshotting avoids this.
Can prices that are hidden behind a login or greyed out be read?
No. Prices that are obscured, hidden, or cut off in the screenshot cannot be read. The AI works from what is visually present in the image, so any information not clearly visible in the screenshot will not appear in the Excel output.
What file format does the output use, and can I edit it?
snapNsheet outputs a standard .xlsx file that opens in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice, and any other spreadsheet application that supports the format. You can edit, reformat, or extend it freely after downloading.
