Use cases
Build a Price Comparison Sheet with Product Photos from Any Shop
When you are tracking the same items across several retailers, copying prices and product names by hand is slow and error-prone. snapNsheet reads screenshots from any shop or app and turns them into a structured Excel file — one row per product, with the photo embedded directly in the cell. A price comparison sheet with product photos becomes something you can produce in minutes rather than an afternoon.
The result is a clean .xlsx file you can sort, filter, and share. Prices in EUR, USD, and GBP are all recognised automatically. Because every row carries the product image alongside the name and price, identifying the right item across different shop listings is straightforward, even when product names differ slightly between retailers.
What this screen looks like
For a price comparison task, a useful screenshot is any product listing page, search results page, or cart view that shows the product thumbnail, name, and price together in one frame. Shopping app screens with a grid or list of items work well, as do desktop browser windows showing category pages or saved wishlists. The clearer the product image and the more fully the price is visible within the frame, the more accurately snapNsheet can extract each row.
When people use it
- You are buying furniture from three different online stores and want one sheet showing each item's photo, name, and price before deciding where to order.
- A small business owner compares supplier catalogues across multiple wholesale sites and needs a documented price comparison sheet with product photos for internal approval.
- You saved wishlists on two or three fashion apps and want to consolidate them into a single Excel file to see which shop offers the better price per item.
Why doing it by hand hurts
- Manually copying prices from four browser tabs into a spreadsheet takes an hour and still leaves you with no product photos to confirm you are comparing identical items.
- Pasting product names from different shops rarely matches exactly, making it hard to align rows correctly without spending extra time on cleanup and verification.
- Inserting product images by hand — downloading each one, then embedding it in a cell — is tedious enough that most people simply skip the photos and lose visual context.
How it works
- 1
Take screenshots from each shop
Open the product listing, search results, or cart in every shop you want to compare. Capture the screen so the product photo, name, and price are all visible. Save each image as a PNG, JPG, or WEBP file under 8 MB.
- 2
Upload to snapNsheet
Go to snapnsheet.com and upload up to 10 screenshots in one conversion. snapNsheet reads each image with AI and extracts every product it finds — name, quantity, unit price, and line total — up to 75 products across your uploads.
- 3
Review, download, and compare
Detected rows appear on screen before you download anything. Once you confirm the data looks right, download the .xlsx file. Each row contains the cropped product photo embedded in the cell, giving you a ready-made price comparison sheet with product photos.
What you get in the Excel file
- Cropped product photo embedded directly in the Excel cell for every item detected.
- Product name as it appears in the screenshot, kept in full regardless of length.
- Unit price extracted per item, with EUR, USD, and GBP all recognised automatically.
- Line total per row and a grand-total formula at the bottom of the sheet.
- A shareable read-only link to the saved list, stored in My Lists for 90 days.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload screenshots from different shops in a single conversion?
Yes. You can upload up to 10 screenshots per conversion, and they can come from completely different shops or apps. snapNsheet processes each image and lists all detected products together, so you can then arrange your price comparison sheet with product photos however you need in Excel.
Does snapNsheet connect to shop accounts to pull prices automatically?
No. snapNsheet reads only the screenshots you upload — it does not log into any store, access account data, or sync with retailer systems. If a price is hidden behind a login wall or cut off at the edge of the image, it cannot be read.
What happens if the same product has a slightly different name across two shops?
snapNsheet extracts the name exactly as it appears in each screenshot. It does not attempt to match or merge rows from different sources, so you will see each shop's version of the name. You can rename or group rows manually in Excel after downloading.
Is there a limit on how many products the sheet can contain?
Each conversion supports up to 75 products across all uploaded screenshots. If your comparison spans more items than that, you can run a second conversion and combine the downloaded files in Excel.
How long are my comparison lists stored?
Lists are saved in My Lists for 90 days. During that period you can revisit them, download the Excel file again, or share a read-only link with a colleague who needs to review the price comparison sheet with product photos.
