Turn a Facebook Marketplace Order Screenshot into an Excel Spreadsheet
Facebook Marketplace doesn't give buyers an exportable order history. Every purchase lives inside the app or website as a chat thread or order card—readable on screen, impossible to bulk-export. If you're tracking multiple purchases, reselling items, or reconciling spending across sellers, you end up copying details by hand. Uploading a Facebook Marketplace order screenshot to snapNsheet converts that screen into a structured Excel file in seconds.
snapNsheet reads your screenshots with AI and returns one Excel row per product: an embedded photo, the product name, quantity, unit price, line total, and a grand-total formula. No account connection, no login sharing—just a screenshot you already have on your device.
What this screen looks like
On the Facebook app, go to Marketplace → Your account → Purchase history (or tap the order notification) to reach the order detail card, which shows the item photo, title, agreed price, seller name, and status. On desktop at facebook.com/marketplace, the same card is under your profile menu → Purchase history. The screen typically displays one or a few items with their thumbnails, prices in your local currency, and a transaction summary at the bottom.
When people use it
- A reseller buying multiple items from different Marketplace sellers each week needs a running cost log without manually entering every order into a spreadsheet.
- A small business owner sourcing second-hand stock wants to share a clean purchase list with a business partner using a read-only link, not a screenshot dump.
- A buying agent placing Marketplace orders on behalf of clients needs an itemised Excel record to attach to an invoice or reimbursement request.
Why doing it by hand hurts
- Typing product names, prices, and seller details from each order card into a spreadsheet is slow and introduces errors, especially across dozens of purchases.
- Facebook Marketplace shows prices in local currency with no export button, so there's no way to pull order data into accounting or inventory software directly.
- Forwarding screenshots to a partner or accountant gives them unstructured images; they still have to read and re-enter everything themselves to make it usable.
How it works
- 1
Capture your order screen
Open the Facebook app or facebook.com/marketplace, navigate to Purchase history, and take a screenshot of the order detail card. Save it as PNG, JPG, or WEBP. Each file must be under 8 MB; you can upload up to 10 screenshots in one conversion.
- 2
Upload to snapNsheet
Go to snapnsheet.com in any browser—phone or desktop. Upload your Facebook Marketplace order screenshot or multiple screenshots. snapNsheet's AI reads each item's photo, name, and price from the image. Detected rows appear on screen for you to review before downloading.
- 3
Download your Excel file
Click download to get a .xlsx file with one row per product: embedded product photo, name, quantity, unit price, line total, and a grand-total formula. Your list is saved for 90 days in My lists and can be shared with a read-only link.
What you get in the Excel file
- Cropped product photo embedded directly in the Excel cell for each item.
- Product name as it appears on the Marketplace order card, kept in full.
- Unit price recognised in EUR, USD, or GBP where visible in the screenshot.
- Line total per product and an automatic grand-total formula at the bottom.
- Shareable read-only link to the saved list, accessible for 90 days.
Frequently asked questions
Can snapNsheet pull my full Marketplace purchase history automatically?
No. snapNsheet reads only the screenshots you upload—it does not connect to Facebook, log into your account, or access any store data. You navigate to Purchase history yourself, take screenshots of the order cards you want, and upload those image files.
What if a seller's price is hidden inside the chat thread rather than shown on the order card?
Prices that are cut off or not visible in the screenshot cannot be read. Capture the screen where the agreed price is clearly displayed. If it only appears in a chat message, screenshot that message separately and include it in the same upload batch.
How many Marketplace orders can I convert at once?
You can upload up to 10 screenshots per conversion, and snapNsheet handles up to 75 product rows in a single output file. For best accuracy, keep each screenshot focused on one order card rather than mixing multiple orders on one screen.
Does it work with Marketplace listings in currencies other than USD?
Prices in EUR, USD, and GBP are recognised. Marketplace listings priced in other currencies will still be extracted as text in the product name or price field, but automatic currency recognition applies only to those three.
Can I share the resulting spreadsheet with a client or accountant?
Yes. After conversion, the list is saved in My lists for 90 days. You can copy a read-only link and send it to anyone—they can view the itemised data without needing a snapNsheet account. You can also download the .xlsx file and attach it to an email or invoice.
