Use cases
Turn Group Buy Screenshots into a Ready-to-Send Order Sheet
Running a group buy means chasing replies across WhatsApp threads, Facebook comments, and voice notes, then manually copying every item into a spreadsheet before you can even place the order. snapNsheet cuts that step out. Upload screenshots of the product list or cart you're ordering from, and it returns an Excel file with every product, quantity, and price already laid out in rows.
A group buy order sheet needs to be shareable, easy to check, and accurate enough that no one disputes what they owe. snapNsheet embeds the product photo directly in each row, so members can verify their items at a glance, and a grand-total formula is included automatically.
What this screen looks like
The typical screenshot for a group buy comes from a supplier's product listing page, a shared cart, or a WhatsApp-forwarded image of an online store's checkout summary. It usually shows product thumbnails on the left, names and variant details in the centre, and unit prices on the right, sometimes with a running subtotal at the bottom. If you're consolidating multiple members' orders, each person's cart screenshot can be uploaded as a separate file in the same conversion batch.
When people use it
- A Facebook group admin collects orders from 20 members for a bulk skincare haul and needs one consolidated sheet to send the supplier.
- A WhatsApp group organiser screenshots a supplier's product page and wants each item priced and listed before collecting payment from participants.
- A community buyer screenshots their cart after adding everyone's requested items and needs a shareable breakdown to send back to the group.
Why doing it by hand hurts
- Typing product names, variants, and prices from screenshots by hand takes 30–60 minutes per group buy and introduces errors that cause payment disputes later.
- Keeping track of who ordered what across dozens of WhatsApp messages means cross-referencing multiple screenshots simultaneously, which is slow and easy to get wrong.
- Building a presentable group buy order sheet in Excel from scratch—formatting columns, adding totals, inserting photos—requires spreadsheet skills most group organisers don't have time for.
How it works
- 1
Screenshot the product list or cart
Open the supplier's site or app and take screenshots of every product page or cart screen that covers the group order. PNG, JPG, or WEBP files up to 8 MB each are accepted, and you can upload up to 10 screenshots per conversion.
- 2
Upload to snapNsheet
Go to snapnsheet.com in any phone or desktop browser and upload your screenshots. The AI reads each image and extracts product names, quantities, unit prices, and line totals. Prices in EUR, USD, and GBP are all recognised automatically.
- 3
Review, download, and share
Detected rows appear on screen before you download anything, so you can confirm the data looks right. Download the .xlsx file and share it with group members using the built-in read-only link, or send the file directly. The list stays saved for 90 days in My Lists.
What you get in the Excel file
- One row per product with the cropped product photo embedded directly in the cell.
- Product name as read from the screenshot, including variant details where visible.
- Quantity and unit price in the currency shown on the original screenshot.
- Line total per product and a grand-total formula at the bottom of the sheet.
- A shareable read-only link so group members can view the order sheet without editing it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload screenshots from multiple members to build one group buy order sheet?
You can upload up to 10 screenshots per conversion, so you can combine several members' cart screenshots in one batch. Each screenshot is processed separately and all detected products appear in the same output file, up to 75 products total per conversion.
Does snapNsheet connect to WhatsApp or Facebook to pull orders automatically?
No. snapNsheet reads screenshots only—it does not connect to WhatsApp, Facebook, or any store. You take the screenshots yourself and upload them. This means the tool works with any supplier or platform, but image quality and resolution affect how accurately prices and names are read.
What if a product name is very long or a price is cut off at the edge of the screenshot?
Long product names are kept exactly as shown in the image. Prices that are hidden behind a scroll, cut off at the image edge, or obscured cannot be read, so it's worth checking that the full price is visible before taking the screenshot.
How do I share the finished group buy order sheet with my group?
After conversion, each list is saved in My Lists for 90 days. You can copy a read-only link and paste it into your WhatsApp or Facebook group, or download the .xlsx file and send it directly. Members with the link can view but not edit the sheet.
Is one order per upload really necessary, or can I mix different suppliers?
Best results come from keeping one supplier's products per upload. Mixing screenshots from different stores in one batch can cause the AI to misread prices or assign products to the wrong currency, particularly if layouts differ significantly between images.
