Turn Instagram Shop Order Screenshots into a Structured Excel File
Instagram Shop lets you browse and buy products without leaving the app, but it gives you no native way to export your purchases into a spreadsheet. If you're tracking orders for a small business, reconciling resale inventory, or managing purchases on behalf of clients, copying product names and prices by hand from an Instagram Shop order screenshot is slow and error-prone.
snapNsheet reads your Instagram Shop order screenshots with AI and produces an Excel file in seconds. Each row contains the product photo, name, quantity, unit price, line total, and a grand-total formula — ready to drop into a budget tracker, purchase log, or client report.
What this screen looks like
In the Instagram app, your order history lives under your profile — tap the hamburger menu, choose 'Orders and payments', then select any completed or pending order to see the full order detail screen. That screen shows each product with its thumbnail image, item name, selected variant (size or colour), quantity, and the price paid. On a desktop browser at instagram.com, the same information is accessible under Settings › Orders and payments.
When people use it
- A reseller buying multiple products from different Instagram Shop sellers needs one consolidated spreadsheet to track costs, quantities, and reorder decisions across purchases.
- A buying agent placing orders on behalf of overseas clients screenshots each Instagram Shop order confirmation to document exactly what was purchased and at what price.
- A small-business owner reviews monthly Instagram Shop spending and wants an itemised Excel log with embedded product photos for accounting and supplier reference.
Why doing it by hand hurts
- Manually copying product names, variants, and prices from an Instagram Shop order screen into a spreadsheet takes several minutes per order and introduces transcription mistakes.
- Instagram provides no export or download button for order data, so there is no shortcut — every figure must be typed or copy-pasted one field at a time.
- Product thumbnails from Instagram Shop orders are impossible to include in a manual spreadsheet without separately downloading and inserting each image by hand.
How it works
- 1
Screenshot your Instagram Shop order
Open the order detail screen in the Instagram app or on instagram.com and take a screenshot. Make sure the product names, quantities, and prices are fully visible and not cut off at the edges. Save as PNG, JPG, or WEBP up to 8 MB.
- 2
Upload to snapNsheet
Go to snapnsheet.com in any browser — phone or desktop. Upload up to 10 screenshots per conversion, covering up to 75 products in total. snapNsheet's AI reads the layout and extracts each line item without accessing your Instagram account.
- 3
Review and download your Excel file
Detected rows appear on screen before you commit. Check that names and prices look correct, then download the .xlsx file. Your list is saved in 'My lists' for 90 days and can be shared with a read-only link.
What you get in the Excel file
- Cropped product photo from the order screen embedded directly in the Excel cell.
- Full product name and variant as it appears in the Instagram Shop order.
- Quantity and unit price per line item, with EUR, USD, and GBP recognised automatically.
- Calculated line total for each product and a grand-total formula at the bottom.
- Shareable read-only link to the saved list, accessible for 90 days after conversion.
Frequently asked questions
Does snapNsheet connect to my Instagram account?
No. snapNsheet has no connection to Instagram and never logs into your account. It reads only the screenshot images you upload. You control what information is shared by choosing which screenshots to submit.
What if my Instagram Shop order shows prices in a currency other than USD?
snapNsheet recognises EUR, USD, and GBP. If your Instagram Shop order is priced in another currency, the figures may still be extracted as text, but automatic currency formatting applies only to those three.
Can I upload several Instagram Shop order screenshots at once?
Yes — up to 10 screenshots per conversion, covering up to 75 products in total. For best accuracy, keep each upload to one order at a time, since mixed layouts across multiple orders can affect how rows are grouped.
What happens if a price or product name is partially cut off in my screenshot?
Prices that are hidden or cropped out of the screenshot cannot be read, and the affected cell will be blank. Very long product names are kept exactly as shown. Retake the screenshot with the full screen visible to get complete results.
How long is my converted Instagram Shop list stored?
Every conversion is saved in 'My lists' for 90 days. You can download the Excel file again or share it with a read-only link during that period. After 90 days the list is removed.
