How to Track AliExpress and Temu Orders in Excel
Waiting on a dozen parcels from AliExpress and Temu at the same time is manageable—until you lose track of which item shipped, which is still processing, and which arrived damaged. A spreadsheet fixes that, but typing out every product name, price, and order number by hand wastes an afternoon. There is a faster starting point.
snapNsheet reads screenshots of your order pages and outputs an Excel file with one row per product, the cropped photo embedded, and prices already filled in. You add the tracking columns yourself—this guide shows you exactly how.
Why a spreadsheet works better than the app inbox
Both AliExpress and Temu show your orders inside their own apps, but neither lets you filter across multiple orders by delivery window, flag disputed items, or add a note about a replacement you requested. A spreadsheet does all of that. You control the columns, the sort order, and the colour coding. You can also share a read-only view with a partner or housemate who needs to know what is arriving when, without giving them access to your account.
Step 1 — Take screenshots of your order pages
Open your AliExpress or Temu order history in a browser or the mobile app. Scroll to each order and take a screenshot that shows the product image, name, quantity, and price clearly. For AliExpress, the order detail page usually shows the order number and shipping status on the same screen—capture that too if you can. For Temu, the order confirmation page or the 'My Orders' list both work. Save screenshots as PNG or JPG; each file must be under 8 MB, and you can upload up to ten at once.
Step 2 — Convert screenshots to Excel with snapNsheet
Go to snapnsheet.com and upload your screenshots. The AI reads each image and extracts product name, quantity, unit price, and line total. Prices in USD, EUR, and GBP are recognised automatically—useful if you switch between AliExpress storefronts. Each detected product row appears on screen before you download anything, so you can check for misreads caused by low-resolution images or partially visible prices. Once you are satisfied, download the .xlsx file. Product photos are embedded directly in the cells, so your tracker is visual from the start.
Step 3 — Add the columns that make it a real tracker
The downloaded file gives you: photo, product name, quantity, unit price, and line total. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets and add these columns to the right: Order Number, Order Date, Estimated Delivery, Carrier / Tracking Number, Current Status, Arrival Date (actual), Condition on Arrival, and Notes. For status you can use a simple controlled list: Processing, Shipped, In Transit, Delivered, Disputed. That is enough to sort and filter meaningfully without overcomplicating the sheet.
Step 4 — Fill in order numbers and delivery estimates
Go back to your AliExpress or Temu order pages and copy the order number for each row. AliExpress order numbers are long numeric strings shown at the top of the order detail page. Temu uses a shorter alphanumeric code. Paste them into the Order Number column. For Estimated Delivery, use the date shown on the order page at the time of purchase—this is the figure the seller committed to, and it is the most useful one to track against. If the seller later updates it, note the revision in the Notes column rather than overwriting the original.
Step 5 — Combine multiple orders into one view
If you upload several screenshots in one session, snapNsheet puts all detected products into a single sheet—up to 75 products per conversion. That is enough to cover a typical month of AliExpress and Temu purchases in one go. If you have more than 75 items, run a second conversion and paste the rows below the first batch. Keep the column structure identical so sorting and filtering work across the full list. A simple freeze on row 1 and an auto-filter on the header row is all the structure you need.
Step 6 — Update status as parcels move
Set a habit of opening the sheet when you receive a shipping notification or a delivery alert. Change the status cell, paste in the tracking number if you did not have it yet, and note the carrier. For AliExpress shipments, carriers like Cainiao, AliExpress Standard Shipping, and local postal services all appear on the order page—copy the carrier name exactly so it is searchable later. For Temu, the tracking link is usually embedded in the order page; note the carrier name in the same column. When a parcel arrives, fill in Arrival Date and Condition on Arrival immediately.
Step 7 — Use the photo column to resolve disputes faster
The embedded product photo in each row is not just decorative. When you open a dispute on AliExpress or report a problem on Temu, you need to describe the item clearly. Having the product image and full name in the same row as your notes means you are not hunting through order history under pressure. If the item arrived wrong or damaged, add a second photo in an adjacent cell—most spreadsheet apps let you insert an image into a cell directly. Your tracker becomes a lightweight evidence log.
Frequently asked questions
Can snapNsheet connect directly to my AliExpress or Temu account?
No. snapNsheet reads screenshots only—it does not log into, sync with, or access any store account. You take the screenshots yourself and upload them. This means it works with any shop or app, but image clarity and resolution affect accuracy.
What if an order has many items and they do not all fit on one screenshot?
Scroll and take multiple screenshots of the same order, then upload them together in one conversion session. snapNsheet processes up to ten screenshots per conversion and places all detected products in a single sheet, so multi-item orders are handled cleanly.
Will it read prices correctly if my AliExpress account shows USD but I live in Europe?
snapNsheet recognises USD, EUR, and GBP symbols as they appear on screen. Whatever currency your order page displays is what it will extract. If prices are partially cut off or hidden behind a hover state, they cannot be read—make sure the full price is visible in the screenshot.
How long are my converted lists stored?
Converted lists are saved for 90 days in the My Lists section. You can also generate a read-only share link for each list, which is useful for sharing an order overview without exposing your account credentials to anyone.
