How-to guide
Image to spreadsheet, structured and ready to use
A picture of a product list is useless in a spreadsheet unless someone types it out. Generic image-to-text tools return a wall of text with prices and names mixed together.
snapNsheet is an image to spreadsheet converter that understands shopping layouts. It returns structured rows (photo, name, quantity, price, line total) instead of plain text, and knows the difference between a price, a struck-through old price and a “per kg” comparison price.
Step by step
- 1
Upload the image
PNG, JPG or WEBP up to 8 MB; up to 10 images per conversion.
- 2
AI reads the layout
Lists, grids and email tables are recognised; quantities and prices are parsed in euro, dollar or pound.
- 3
Review the rows
Duplicate products across overlapping screenshots are merged automatically.
- 4
Export to Excel
Download a .xlsx with photos, formulas and a total.
Tips for the best result
- Higher resolution screenshots give better name transcription; avoid heavy compression.
- If a price is unreadable, the row is kept and flagged so you can fill it in yourself.
- Mixed currencies in one list are detected and reported instead of silently summed.
