How-to guide
WooCommerce order emails to Excel packing lists
Every WooCommerce or Shopify order arrives as an email with product images, quantities and prices. Shop owners, pickers and delivery partners then retype it into a packing list or a purchase sheet.
Screenshot the order email in Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail and snapNsheet converts it into an Excel list with the product photo, name, quantity, price, line total and order total, with the order number in the file name.
Step by step
- 1
Screenshot the order email
Open the “New order” or confirmation email and screenshot the product table. Long orders need 2 or 3 screenshots.
- 2
Upload to snapNsheet
Add the screenshots in order. The order number is detected and used in the file name.
- 3
Check quantities and prices
Quantity columns, unit prices and line totals are read; the subtotal is compared to the sum of the rows.
- 4
Download the packing list
Print it, send it to your picker or forward it to a supplier.
Tips for the best result
- Screenshot the email in a desktop browser for the widest product table and the sharpest photos.
- If the email shows only a line total, the unit price is calculated from quantity × price automatically.
- Keep one list per customer and add new orders to it to build an order history.
